Notes:	Friday sessions are online and Saturday sessions are held at either our Newfane or Waterbury campus. During registration please chose which campus you'll be going to so we can plan on enough instructors at each location. ***All students must go to VEMSA in Newfane on 10/17 for the final skill session and evaluation***

The Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) to EMT Bridge Course is a competency-based, hybrid program designed for current OEC providers seeking EMT certification. Building on existing OEC knowledge and skills, the course focuses on the additional competencies needed to transition into the prehospital EMS environment, with virtual didactic instruction and in-person hands-on skills, scenarios, and competency evaluation. The program is taught to National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) standards and prepares students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required at the EMT level.
